![]() Or how about Illidan twirling around with his demonic blades. He entered the dark portal and slaughtered demons by the thousands. So you're saying that a warrior slaying thousands of enemies isn't an art form? Take Broxigar for example. Until I came into this thread and read your opinion of course. To this day, I have yet to hear anyone say that Shaman melee looks "worse" than Monk melee. You may "think" the default animations looked sloppy, while someone else may be just fine with them.Īs a long time Enhancement Shaman, I never heard anyone say that Shaman with fist weapons looked "sloppy" or anything else. In terms of tech classes, the Tinker following WC3's design should follow suit. There's no other Monk class like it in all of RPGs. However, that aspect of the class makes it unique and for many people very interesting. So again, you can make a ranged class that simply has melee animations at close range, saving the melee portion for tanking aspects.Īs for being silly and frivolous, the Monk class is also pretty silly, because it's derived from a pretty silly WC3 hero unit. Both the WC3 Tinker, and Gazlowe have these traits. Not impossible but I find a melee tinker with a backpack to be very unlikely. While the hero was melee, all of its abilities were ranged based. The backpack I think by design is one of the apsects blizz would consider too silly/frivolous for anything beyond maybe a cooldown graphic. ![]() They could make a melee tinker but I think ranged would be better if they did for another range weapon user, as well as the fact the last two classes added were melee classes. Wouldn't that make him weigh thousands of pounds? How can he roll around with all those kegs?Īll that happening in the game, and you seriously want to argue about a Goblin carrying a robot suit on his back? What about the Brewmasters? How are they carrying all those kegs of alcohol? Where are they storing all those kegs of alcohol when they're not using them? Additionally, the keg used for Dizzying Haze is different than the keg used for Keg Smash, so the Monk has two different types of unlimited kegs that he's carrying somewhere. So how can Hunters never run out of ammo? Also, how can a Hunter summon their stable pets anywhere in the world (even off world)? Where are those pets when I'm not using them? Are they invisible and just following me around all the time? Where's the logic in that? What about Hunters with unlimited ammunition? What's the logical story basis behind that? Are they all using magical bows and guns? Well that's not true, because Engineers build the guns, and they're not using magic. Where do they go when they vanish? Where do I store all those mounts? How am I able to summon any mount I want anywhere in the world (even off world)? ![]() This includes Horses, motorcycles, Sky Golems, Sea Turtles, Gryphons, etc. And by the way, we're not just talking about magical mounts here, we're talking EVERY mount. Well then please explain the story context behind mounts vanishing in puffs of smoke, or magically appearing beneath me when I summon them. You do understand that no matter which story we're talking about, basic logic must apply, even within the story's context, right?
